How it works

From checkout to connected

Buy your plan before you travel, install it on Wi-Fi at home, and switch it on when you land. Here is the whole journey.

    Choose your destination

    Search for the country or region you are visiting and pick the plan that fits your trip: data, days and price are on every card.

  2. 2

    Pay and get your QR code

    Check out with your card. Your eSIM QR code is ready in your account the moment the payment goes through.

  3. 3

    Install, land, connect

    Scan the QR code in your phone settings before you fly. When you land, turn on the eSIM for data and you are online.

Installing your eSIM

iPhone

  1. 1 Open My eSIM in your Travo Data account on another screen (or print it).
  2. 2 On your iPhone go to Settings → Mobile Data (or Cellular) → Add eSIM → Use QR Code.
  3. 3 Scan the QR code and follow the prompts. Label the new line "Travo Data" so it is easy to find.
  4. 4 Under Mobile Data, keep your usual line for calls and choose Travo Data for data when you arrive.

Android

  1. 1 Open My eSIM in your Travo Data account on another screen (or print it).
  2. 2 Go to Settings → Network & internet (or Connections) → SIMs → Add eSIM / Download a SIM.
  3. 3 Scan the QR code and confirm. The menu names differ a little between Samsung, Pixel and other brands.
  4. 4 When you arrive, set the Travo Data eSIM as your mobile data SIM and turn on data roaming for it.

Install on Wi-Fi, before you fly.

Scanning the QR code needs an internet connection, and each QR code can be installed once. Don't delete the eSIM from your phone afterwards unless you are finished with it.
